- Bag Policy: Due to security regulations, only small bags with maximum dimensions of 30 x 20 x 10 cm (approx. A4 paper size) are permitted inside the museum grounds. Larger bags can be left safely in the vehicle.
- Footwear & Clothing: Since a large portion of the tour takes place outdoors across uneven ground and cobbles, comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing (jacket, umbrella, or sun protection) are strongly recommended.
- Weather Conditions: The tour takes place regardless of weather conditions, so please dress accordingly.
- Age Recommendation: The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum does not recommend visits for children under the age of 14 due to the sensitive nature of the site.
